Alcoa 7050 is a high strength heat treatable alloys, high strength and exfoliation corrosion resistance and resistance to stress corrosion cracking.

Commonly used in aircraft structural parts for medium and heavy plate extrusion, free forging and die forging parts.


The requirements for the manufacture of this kind of parts are: corrosion resistance and stress corrosion cracking resistance, fracture toughness and fatigue resistance.
